This is a fantastic truck and I have owned it for 3 years; it starts, it runs and it craves prius flesh! The reason I am listing it, is that my interests have shifted more towards motorcycles than 4×4’s. This is the rarer 5.9 liter, 360ci v8 4×4 Ramcharger by Dodge, and it also features the Prospector trim package, all of which can be verified by VIN. Now paired with that lovely Chrysler LA Engine, is a new 4 barrel quadrajet carburetor with automatic choke, which replaced the carter thermoquad it had, (I’ll throw in the old thermoquad carb if you want it.) Also, this truck has the Chrysler 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission.
It has a 36 gallon fuel tank and would make a great ranch truck, desert crawler or hunting rig. It also has a trailer hitch in back and manual locking hubs. No rust on the body or floor pans, pretty solid vehicle. The only significant body damage is to the left rear tail light area, there’s some old bondo work starting to chip. The interior is in fair condition, seat upholstery has typical Arizona UV damage and is torn, but seat covers hide it and the material is still comfortable. It’s riding on 32 inch mud terrain tires with lots of life left in them. The truck just had an oil change done and its tires rotated in February.
This truck has:
New radiator (3 years old, installed by previous owner).
Complete brake job.
New rear axle shafts, both sides.
All new window gaskets.
New tie rod ends, steering tightened up, new upper/lower ball joints, new u-joint.
All new fuel lines on tank and new fuel filler neck.
New water pump & thermostat.
New fuel pump and fuel filter.
New refurbished quadrajet carburetor, as mentioned above.
Religiously maintained/babied and receipts kept of all service done.
I have a new mopar fuel sending unit for it, since the fuel gauge doesn’t work, also a spare gas tank from the previous owner you can have. I also have a stock radio for the dash, that I haven’t had installed yet. The A/C doesn’t work, but the compressor is there, yay for power windows! I also have an original Chrysler factory manual for the truck that the buyer can have.
The truck lives with me in Bisbee, Arizona and it has a clean Arizona title. Asking $3400, or best offer. Not interested in trades. Cash only.
